Orchestral Strings

From the first time I heard the musical works of Björk, Radiohead, Jon Brion and one particularly, outrageously beautiful track by Sebastian Tellier, I was enamoured with the variety of textures and sounds achieveable with strings, and their unique strength at resonating particular emotional states within the listener.
I was recently granted the opportunity to record four new string arrangements I'd written for a few (secret) projects I'm currently working on with a massive ensemble of players from the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. It was something of a dream for me to be able to hear these ideas I'd previously had bouncing around in my head being performed in a recording studio by musicians of such high calibre.
I hope I can get another opportunity to moonlight as an arranger, it is certainly a newly born passion of mine and one I wish to do again very soon!
